Mad Max Director Wants Hideo Kojima for a Future Game
Mad Max director George Miller has high hopes for the franchise's future in video games. While acknowledging the 2015 Mad Max game, he believes a future title could be much better:
Miller sees Hideo Kojima as the ideal candidate for a top-tier Mad Max game.
He acknowledges Kojima's busy schedule and wouldn't pressure him, but sees him as a perfect fit.
Miller is open to another Mad Max game only if it can be made to the "highest level."
Despite his reservations about the 2015 game, some fans defend it as an "underrated gem" and a good licensed title.
In the meantime, fans can enjoy the new Mad Max film, Furiosa, which is out now and receiving rave reviews.

Explore Classic Vizima in The Witcher 3 with New Mod!
Want a taste of the upcoming The Witcher remake? A new mod lets you explore key locations from the original game within The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Here's the scoop:
This "The Witcher 1 Maps" mod, created by AngryCatster, uses RedKit, CD Projekt Red's official modding tool.
It brings iconic areas like the Vizima Dike, Temple Quarter, and Trade Quarter into The Witcher 3.
You can seamlessly explore these areas with updated textures, lighting, and controls.
While there are some minor glitches, this mod offers a glimpse of what The Witcher remake might hold.
Keep in mind:
The official remake by Fool's Theory is a complete reimagining in Unreal Engine 5, not just a port.
You'll need to wait a while for the remake, as it comes after the next Witcher game (Polaris) in 2025 or later.
Ready to explore? PC players can download the mod from AngryCatster's page or watch a video tour on YouTube.
Bonus: RedKit is free for PC owners of The Witcher 3 on Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
Beyond The Controller:
Gamers Want Less Strategy, Says Study: Are We Too Burned Out?
Some people believe that players are no longer interested in games necessitating intricate planning
This is what the report reads:
Quantic Foundry has examined nine years of data from their gamer motivation tool.
All gaming motivations were stable, except strategy.
67% of gamers today are less interested in strategic planning compared to 2015.The cause is unclear, but researchers point to a potential link with:
Decreased attention spans: Shorter videos and faster-paced media.
Social media overload: Constant negativity and information overload could be draining our mental resources.
The study does not say that strategy games are dead. Titles such as Capes or Stormgate planned for release soon; others like Firaxis Games have continued working on strategy projects too.
However, this may be significant when it comes to the creative directions adopted by game developers going forward. In this regard, more games might prioritize making them easy to understand and fast action oriented rather than complexly strategic ones.
